'Classic' Stretcher Bars
This is our medium duty range of stretcher bars, with a choice of three profiles for different requirements. These bars tend to be used by artists who require a good quality stretcher bar without the weight of the Museum range and tend to be used on slightly smaller canvases
They are all made from the same grade spruce as the rest of our stretcher bars and therefore retain their perfectly straight edge and tension across the canvas when the canvas is correctly stretched (see essential info for more details).
With a fully rounded top profile and maximum standoff for the canvas, these bars provide maximum support for your artworks.
Profiles Available
'Classic 45' - 45mm x 18mm medium duty stretcher
'Classic 65' - 65mm x 20mm medium duty stretcher
'Classic 25-65' - 65mm x 25mm medium duty stretcher
The dimensions above are all quoted with the width first and the depth last.
Pricing
Pricing for these bars is dependent on the lengths and profiles required. We do not calculate individual bar lengths like some suppliers, which can make a whole frame very expensive - we sell by the metre.
PLEASE NOTE: The Classic profile is now only available in shipments of 300 metres or more.
